How do I remove the piece that the arrow points to ? I would like to paint it the same as the exterior but I am not totally sure how to remove it.

if you are talking about the read panel of the dash, then from what I've heard its a pain in the a to remove. Try searching removing dash, or dash mods. Thats the best help I can give you, sorry.

Yep. I think that's a Dash removal. Just a thought, Mask every thing in the interior. I heard taking the Dash out is a pain in the ***...

It very easy remove the three screws in the cowel above the cluster then gently pull on the pc starting at the bottem it wil unsnap as you pullit up. the trim piece around the cluster will start to come forward as well there is one tab that holds the to pieces together seperate them pull the piece you want to paint out unplug any wires and remove. it just installs in the revers order

I found out it is pretty nitpicky to get the dash out, I followed my Chilton book and some other advice and did it in about an hour... expect painted dash pictures next week
