How do i plug my edge in to my computer? With what cable? And how do i update it?

 

Everything come in a box? Everything you need should be in the box that it came in...Installation CD, decals, mount, pod, instructions, and lastly and most important from what you are looking for is a USB cable. It should have a normal USB end and then on the other end of the cable should be a tiny USB thingy....kind of like a cable that hooks up some printers. The normal USB side goes into the computer and the little USB side goes into the EDGE where theres a little black gromet covering the port.

When you plug it into your computer, and install the CD, the Fusion software should load up and it will automatically tell you to update if it finds a more current firmware edition or you can click on the UPDATE tab up top and it will tell you if there is a newer version available.

So if you got the Edge by itself, you are most likely S.O.L. You need the cable at the least to plug into your computer and the CD has the software on it that you need. If you already have the Fusion software installed on the computer then you wont need the CD.

Ahhh..uh oh. someone didnt do their homework....hahaha. Well, you can see if anyone near you has an Edge and borrow their cable + CD but I think the CD might be unique to each programmer...not sure on that one...Next best bet would be to contact EDGE and see about getting a cable and CD...That is only a logical thing since I dont know what else you can do...well, you could just leave it the way it is..itll still work as long as the person you got it from returned it to stock or setting "0".

 

Any usb cord the same plug in should work and you can download the update software free off edgeproducts dot com

well i just got a cai so ima need to get the gryphon

 

Just order a tune theyll send it through email and you can convert to a gryphon yourself with pegasus softwar download from php web site.....it may take you 5 years to get but it will come haha
