Post horsepower numbers

I'm lookin to do some performance modifications to my 05 suercab. I'm wondering what kind of numbers people are running realistically with what modifications or stock. I'm real curious but also am looking for a good sense and to set my expectations so please don't do the fisherman talk (we've all done it.) As always pictures are great. So have fun.

What size motor? Most hp numbers mentioned by manufacturers are Wide Open Throttle which personally I find a useless number for me. A 5k lb. truck shouldn't be running wide open on the street.

Its a 2005 XLT 4x4 with the 5.4. Its got 112k miles on it so right now i'm in the middle of doing the typical precautionary and maintenance tasks. The truck is under warranty for another month so no performance goodies yet.

^^ I do understand you about the full throttle. With gas the way it is I've taken to driving like a grandma. However, on the other hand I do some drag racing occasionally. Nothing spectacular, just amateur bracket racing for fun and to test my work on my vehicles.

What's your truck run stock just curious? High 15's low 16's? Or am I way off?

I haven't brought it to the track yet. I just bought it a little over a month ago. If I had to guess, I'd say mid 16s.

The engine has a lot of hard miles on it. Its not putting out anything near what it's capable of. my guess is as good as yours. Have you run yours?

Well on a empty backroad my gryphon said 15.9 to 16.2 both after a few runs don't know how accurate it is, haven't gotten to the track yet soon though.
