Question hood plastic

i have a 2004 screw fx4 just wanting to know the plastic peice under the windshield wipers, the hood vents have clips on it and the one clip is broke and it isnt flush with the other side. I heard it was a defect wondering how to go about fixing it thanks.

yeah the 2 peice wiper cowl it keeps popping up i heard it is a defect and ford will replace it if not what is the fix for it?

If a clip is broke and it keeps popping up, it seems like the fix would be to either find a way to secure it where the clip used to be, or buy a new one. As far as Ford replacing them, you'd have to ask them.

Try searching the forum to see if others have had the same issue and if there's a fix.

thanks alot boogie and eveyone else going to the hardware store tomorrow and getting the screw for the fix seems easy enough to do let you know how it goes
