Default HID's Pleezz

Anyone know a good place to purchase HID's...

Ebay is probably a waste of time.

Also any stories of HID owners would be appreciated. (love em/hate em)

Default Hid's

I purchased a set of Philips Xenon 6000k from www.xenonpros.com .
They shine very bright. Slight bluish tint but looks better than every other lights i see on the road. Easy to install and decent prices!

6000K does have a slight bluish tint but there made that way, if you wanted white white should have gone with 5000K. but anyways how was the installation, iam lookin for a high/low and fogs in 6000K

I bought mine from an Ebay seller; not a waste of time at all. Got them within 3 days.
I like them; thumbs up from me. Mine have the blue 8000 bulbs.

Go to www.retro-solutions.com. He is real big over at another f150 forum. I have 2 sets on my truck, both 55w instead of 35w and there digital. No radio interference and perfect color. You have to tell them to add any purple to the color. Todd is the guys name and he has awsome customer service. And a lifetime warranty.

^That's what I'm going to go with when I take the plunge. They seem to be great lights and if you google retro solutions discout you can find a few pages that will have cheaper prices, but all direct from them.

Squirt can you notice much or a difference between the 35 and 55 watt?

Don't the 55's have a shorter life span than the 35's?
