There's a sticky post in the Audio subforum on how to remove the back seat. It's not complicated, but it can be difficult to line up the screw driver the right way to disengage the clips.

The no tool way:

Its pretty simple once you know where the clips are...just squeeze your hand back there and push on the clip and lift up with the other hand. Its a tight squeeze but now that I know I can pop the seat out rather easily and with no tools. Granted if you have thick hands you'll have to go the screw driver route, which is a PITA.

I almost never use the keypad. It is handy when you've locked your keys in your car or you do not have your keys on you.

I like the keypad, specially when going out. I can lock my keys and what ever else in it and go out with out having to carry keys in my pocket all night.

If the truck is wired for the key pad and had a code with it then the truck is programmed for it, just go buy a handle and put it on and you'll be set. Took me 15 minutes to install mine and $99.92 for the handle from the local dealership

Not even silicone, just bolt it in and you're good. If you look on youtube you can find a few guides on how to remove the handle
