I'm looking for someone who has ordered their HID's from Jon_To, or if he's out here maybe he can answer. I tried to PM him back yesterday but the box was full.
How are these shipped? Mail, UPS, FedEx, etc? Do I just mail a check to the address he provided me or is there a site to go to in order to use credit card? And last but not least, what is the purpose of putting the forum name and user name with the order?

They offer a forum discount...sometimes, that's the reason for the Forum name. I bought HID's and LED's from them, they sent me a google checkout or you can use paypal...not sure about mailing check, may be an option but I don't know about it since I did mine via internet. Hopefully this helps a bit...

 

I don't remember how mine came... Think it was USPS. I paid via paypal and got a $5 forum discount

 

Thanks for the input. The info he gave me was like an email address. That's why I was wondering how you were to get the payment to him.
I did see a web site foe said company, but didn't see anywhere there for a forum or user name.

 

Mine came through USPS and I paid with paypal. Got here in 3 days after payment. Very good customer service. I reccomend him to everyone who asks about HID's. Also, he prob gave you the email for a paypal payment. thats what he did for me.

 

Preffered PayPal, money order, he will quote you a price and all of the info he needs from you. Shipping, I don't know. I went to the vendor section, jon_to lighting and posted and got a reply from him. Any questions on hid, do a search or I think there might even be a sticky for it.

I used paypal with him too. you just go to paypal "send money" and enter his email in. it will bill to your credit card or bank account you have setup.

the hid's i got from him were junk. both ballasts didnt even work upon arrival so i had to pay to send them back. waited 3 weeks to get a new set sent out. he was decent to work with and always replied but the product itself isnt that great. you get what you pay for!

 

Sorry to hear yours didn't work. That's the first person I've heard say that. Mine have been great so far.

 

Ok, I just had the I.T. guy here at work explain the whole paypal experience to me. Kind of feel like a dips____. For a man in my 40's, I still have a lot to learn about technology. Schissler, sorry to hear yours didn't work at first. I have seen that a lot of people here are happy with them.
I'll get on tonight and order them. Now I have to make the final thought of 5000k or 6000k. I need to light up the desert at night. Lol.
