I’m losing a little money sending the housings back but it doesn’t matter I found a single for the DS on eBay for $50. Clear looks better anyways !!!

 

Is the bottom pic low beams? The beam pattern looks to be upside down.

 

The bottom is the low and I have them installed with the shields on the bottom facing up

 

After I cleaned the 2 burrs out of he DS headlight yesterday i applied compressed air to clean out the lamp of debris and then tried to clean the reflector from a little dust. I could barely fit my finger inside with rag over it but was able to get it a little clean although I sprayed a tad bit of window cleaner thinking it would help make it shine, it didn’t. It took some of the reflective material off so I just stopped. I still can’t believe how well the bulb stayed in the socket. It’s nice and tight and if I didn’t know there was a burn hole inside the lamp I wouldn’t worry about replacing it but I’m pretty OCD when it comes to my truck. I’m very happy with the Lumen H13 G8 LEDs in the clear OEMs. The aftermarket, black headlight reflectors are junk no matter where they’re from unless their Harley edition.

 

Can anyone confirm their upside down ? I was told shields on the bottom facing up, plus their “suppose” to be pre-adjusted out the box. They both went in the housings the same, when I locked them in the fans are also sitting the same which lead me to believe they’re correct. Maybe I should flip them since my truck has a 6” lift ?
