Theres definitely something wrong with the beam pattern. Try using this same led in your pass side oem housing and compare to the aftermarket one.

Or it could be the leds.

I know it’s the housings, I just sent the exact same ones back to amazon that I just got from car.i.d. Amazon $76 vs car.i.d $167 and their exactly the same POS’s. Lights and housings are going back and I’m going to pull a part for OEMs cause I had just redone mine when the bulb blew and they were so clear and just perfect

Thats a bummer. I know you put a lot of work into your oem ones. Yeah, try a junk yard or maybe you can find a decent deal on a used set on eBay.

There’s 2 little burrs that I’m going to cut out and I can get a halogen to stay while I send those POS back and search for a used drivers side OEM. I prefer clear over black/euro anyways

Update: so I used my dremel to clean out the opening where the burn spot is, then used an old halogen to make sure it would stay and it actually locks in and is air tight. So then I took the black housings off and put the clear OEMs back on and kept the LEDs on until tonight when I can see if the pattern is better. The euros are going back Monday and if the lights don’t look better they’ll go back also. Advice on ordering any black headlights: if anyone is ever interested in black headlight housings (or whatever you want to call them), pay for the Harley editions because wheather you buy from amazon or car.i.d or anywheres else the housings reflectors are all the same POS ! This will give me more time to find a good set of OEMs for a decent price.
