Hid kit question??

Default Hid kit question??

Ok so I want to put hids in my truck what I've seen kits from 50 to 200 dollars. How do you know which ones are ligit and which ones are fake?

Neither will be fake so long as they come with ballasts and bulbs and in your case a relay harness if you want to retain your high beams, I'd suggest running two harnesses one for each side, works betting in those trucks in my exp. the price difference you see if a quality thing some are better than others and will last longer, best you can get are Philips and also the most expensive. A lot of people use the HID kits from VVME and say nothing but good things about them...should be like 60 bucks i think. I am debating on getting some as well.

+1. I've used kits from vvme. ( www.vvme.com) and they are pretty good, good price, good service and usually very fast shipping.

I have kensun in my truck and they're VERY bright, I'm actually gonna order fogs for it today on eBay, they're $65. Look for a place that has a lifetime warranty

I have ddm no problems but i want to get a different "k" and 55watt i have 35 watt 12k theyre really blue and bright but not the betfor actuall driving because they are so blue but thats what i was foolishly going for but i think ima go 5-6k 55watt by racesport because theyre sold locally so if anything goes wrong its quick fix insteAd of a few week warranty replace wait

Pic dont do justice but sorta gives you an idea why to stay away from really blue ha looks cool but cuts down visibility
