Default HID install problem

I got hi/low hid installed but only one of the headlights work, once i unplug the working one the other one works...the seller said i need a relay which is a "common problem with fords" So i switched it for the bi-xenon with relay and now the problem is worst, passenger doesnt work and driver side is just constantly flashing. Does anyone have any ideas or should i just have it installed by them??

Thanks!

Yes you need a wiring harness with a relay. any kit you can buy that is "plug and play" is junk, dont waste your money.

You might want to PM Jon_to he sould be able to help out. I ordered his kit and everything works. His kit comes with a ground for each headlight and one wire on the harness connects directly to the positive terminal on your battery. Sounds like you got a cheap kit

Do u have any pics of your hid kit? Wiring harness. The only thing I can think that would cause the headlight not to work is that something is grounded incorrectly.

The kit i got has the same as you described one wire to the positive of your battery, grounds for each light, and ballast... It might have been a cheap kit but it was from a local guy and i bought one from ebay and had similar problems didnt want issues of shipping and communication. I talked to the seller again and he told me to bring it by tomorrow and he'll install it for free for my troubles!

I dont have any pictures but its just like the one i saw on the How-to on here and most youtube videos...do u think the grounds can cause it not to work? the ground wires were a little short so i had to ground it to some part on the bumper........hmmmmm
