the bulb is in a projector that is sitting next to the tub. The morimoto ballasts are D2S output and are designed for use with OEM bulbs and for bulbs used in projector retro-fits. Very high quality stuff, right up there with OEM quality. I use the morimotos on my truck.

Default headlight conversion to hid
does anyone have experience taking out the original halagon and install the zenon bulb
