Have you looked at your own pictures? The housing doesn't help but the fact that the housings are silver and reflective don't help at all. If you were to paint the housing black and also aim the lights down a ton it won't be too bad but could be better.

The stock light looks normal to me. From that picture there doesn't appear to be any cut off line, and if you can't tell that there is one from that high off the ground there might aswell be no point becuase the cut off would be shooting towards the sky.

been reading... interesting views, and info.. some proper some not...

i will ad that hids are the best bang for the dollar/most rewarding mod you will prob get form your truck, plug and play is best, and get something that has proper reputation and warranty...

imo 6000k is best... 8000k the next best... nothing higher.

i would like to add that i currently am running 8000k in my lightning headlights and am not blinding traffic what so ever. they are not aimed down - actualy aimed same as stock and i have no glare. there is visible cutoff as well. i can't couch for every generations headlights.. but can for mine... and i run them with no problems for other drivers, police, etc.... they're AMAZING... and i have them on every vehicle i own/have own

I personally do not care if there is not a cutoff line. It kind of annoys me on my moms car that they just stop all of the sudden. When I install them on mine I will do some slight adjustment, mainly because I already need to. I get flashed now with stock simply because the hight of my truck. I do not want the lights to become unfunctional because i am trying to be polite.
