Default Hey Guys

Hey y'all I'm new to this site. I have an 08 F150 screw that I bought used in 09. It is my first truck I've ever had and I've loved every second that I've had it. I'm looking for a few ideas for my truck. I've already put a Pioneer touchscreen head unit in with door speakers and switched out my 17s for 20s. A leveling kit is in the works and should be installed soon. I would also love to put a harley davidson grill on it but don't know if that's really in my budget. I really would love to have painted color matched door handles and mirror caps. Would love some advice on how to do that. Anyways I'm really excited to be on the site and I see a ton of great lookin trucks on here. Look forward to hearing from y'all.

Welcome, truck looks good. Where did you find your rims? I've been looking for a few years for a decent deal for the factory 20's.

Nice truck. Love the 20's. It gives the truck a nice proportion and sits nice. A HD grill would be nice too. I've been thinking about an LT grill believe it or not (hard to find in salvage yards though!).

The Harley grille is nice, but hard to come by. They do appear in the classifieds from time to time. Another popular grille is the Saleen. It just got back in stock at Stage3Motorsports but they are selling them quick.

Here's an example of my Harley with the factory chrome outter ring. I like it because I kept the chrome on my truck. Not too little, not too much.

I've got mine for sale. And they come with a good set of Cooper STTs.

I'm a big fan of mixing and matching OEM parts to get the look I want (hence my search for an LT grill; although I don't always go that route) or using what I'll call arm's length OEM parts. For Fords that would be Roush or Saleen stuff.... I just like the look. Like the LT grill thing or Navigator or HD rims on an F150... or take Roush wheels on an F150 or a Mustang for another example.... looks real nice - like it belongs. That Saleen grill is the same thing.... it looks like it belongs there. Some of the aftermarket stuff is a little too gimicky for my taste but there are exceptions.

Man I found them on Craigslist but it took me a good 8 months of getting on there everyday and just being patient. Got the set with tires on them for 1000 and sold my 17s for 400 so got a little back anyway.
