Hesitation
I needed some help with diagnosing a miss whenever it's under hard acceleration. But no codes its a 05 f150 king ranch 5.4. Changed plugs already and cleaned throttle body. Could it be fuel filter other than that it runs and idles smooth. Thanks in advance.
It also gets bad gas mileage about 11 miles per gallon.

Change your fuel filter and check your FPDM also.

Changed the cops not that. It runs smooth and as long as u dont floor it it won't miss if u just slowly press pedal down it actually has nice pickup.

Fuel Pump Driver Module. You'll find it near the spare tire. They are known for cracking, as they are made of plastic and in a cruddy location, and sometimes get moisture inside causing problems.

P.S. Never feel stupid for asking a question. It is why we all come to the forum, to ask questions and if we can offer possible answers!

The FPDM is the fuel pump driver module... It's above your spare tire mounted to the frame... If yours is corroded then it could be the source of your issue. Drop the spare and inspect it... If it looks like its obviously it, then leave it there and order a new one... If you tamper with a severely corroded unit, you won't be able to drive your truck if necessary. It will crumble apart in your hands.
