Default Help!!whats wrong?

I have a 06 f150 that has the brake light on all the time and sometimes the ABS light comes on as well. I have replaced the brakes, rotors, reserviour, and the master cylinder. Has any one else had this problem? I need help. Thanks Ken

Have you checked fuse #10 in the cab? If it is blown, try unplugging your PCV valve preheater.

Read the DTC’s... this will tell you what’s wrong.

ABS light on usually means you have an issue (usually air or corroded terminals) with your ABS pump. 2 trains of thought here:
1) If your brakes work well, just pull the bulb out of the cluster (not really the best way, but how often have you ever used your ABS?)
2) Take it to Ford so they can remove air in the system or corrosion issues on the pump with their proprietary ABS machine.

I have an '06 with the same problem. There is a loose connection or bad solder joint behind the instrument panel. I think this is a common problem. On my truck if I pound on the dash board it will sometimes make the light go out. Just haven't got around to fixing it.

I use my ABS pretty regularly up here in Montana driving in snow and ice.
