Default Help with tires

I have a 2006 F150 4x4 supercab. I am considering buying the polished aluminum Mojave ATX 17x8 rims off of the American Racing wheels. Am I going to have any issues at all with the 285/70/17 tires on this truck or will they be fine? Will I need a lift kit? I know the tires fit the rims Im not sure if the tire will be ok on the truck without a lift kit.

Thanks in advance!

Kirk

On a 17x8 wheel you should clear without a leveling kit. Lot's of room on a 4x4 for a 285x70x17 tire. Later you'll wan't to level it and go with a 34 or 35" tire if you keep looking at the pics on this site!!

Read the "sticky" at the top of this forum....it's titled "wheel and tire fitment guide 2004-2008".
