Have you tried using a flat head screw driver to feel the hex? Looks like nothing I've ever seen

You might get lucky with a gator grip socket
You will need the porcelain broken off and removed to get the gator grip to bite...

If I break it off and get rid of the porcelain, can't I then use the Lisle tool?

I bought these sockets, no luck as of yet. I thought for sure it was going to work...how big a deal is it to pull the head? I'm seriously considering taking it in. With the rebate it may be worth it to have em all done by the stealer...

Well there she is boys...I was able to tap the Irvin socket on with a hammer and got it to loosen up. I was then able to grab and pull it out with the long needle nose pliers...that's one boogered up plug! Now I can get to work with the Lisle tool, correct?

Yep. Time for the lisle. You'll have her out in 5 minutes. Congrats.

Great job, glad it came out. Get the lisle tool to work, get the new plugs in and take it for a long drive. Congratulations.
