came in the mail today, deals with spark plug repairs and changes similar to this on some models thru 2008.

You may get as little as 50 or much more with proof of out of pocket expenditures for these plugs!

Try tapping a 3/8 or larger thread in square hole.. Then get some 3/8 threaded rod or larger, screw it in and yank it out.. You can bend a handle on the rod for good grip.. If the socket spins while you try to tap a thread, get a metal pick or skinny file to wedge between the spark plug well and socket..
I wish I had an easy problem like this right now, I just discovered a broken valve spring, and a dropped valve, motor is toast. Got her to 195k on the nose. FML

That's a very good idea...Couldn't get a purchase with the slide hammer. I've got socket and extension JB welded and sitting overnight. Hopefully I can pull it out tomorrow. If not, this will be my next effort. Thanks and sorry for your troubles

If you think you're going to tap into the hardened metal of an impact socket, I have some bad news. I hope your JB works.

Bro I feel bad for you. I been following this thread and silently rooting for you. Any chance you could use a tap and run it down into the socket and either use the tap or a bolt to work it out? Either way good luck. I see it was already mentioned above.

I appreciate it...the tap doesn't work because the whole thing turns...I tried it...I slathered on another coat of JB, gonna let it set a couple of days and try again. I'll keep y'all posted, thanks to everyone for the tips and advice...I'll get it, eventually
