Default Help with Power Code security system programming

So I've got a 2006 FX4 with the aftermarket Ford power code alarm/remote start system (installed by the dealer). However, there are a few things I'd like to change and I can't figure out how to get into programming mode. I've read things online about holding down the programming button (I did find mine located by hood release on lower left kick panel) and brake pedal for 10-15 seconds, but nothing seems to happen. Also, once I am able to get into programming mode, I need to know what options I am able to change. There are several things I don't like about the current operation such as: doors don't automatically unlock with ignition shut off, horn beeps once upon unlocking with fob, dome/bed lights are staying on after truck is locked with fob, headlights don't turn on upon unlocking with fob, etc.

If anyone can shed some light I would really appreciate it. I can't seem to find any relevant info online.

Sorry I cant find any info either. I would guess about 90% of everything you can do/change should be word for word in that there owners manual? Strange

One would think so, right? Instead, it says this:

Your PowerCode system has several programmable settings such as ignition triggered door lock, ignition triggered door unlock and automatic arming features...if you are interested in changing any of these settings call 1-800-FORD-KEY for information regarding the different programmable features and the steps to change the settings.

I have called the number many times but never get a person or any useful info.

LOL so they took the time to print an owner manual just to tell you to call a number? That's lame! C'mon Ford!

Yea, exactly! Not only that, the number seems to be no longer monitored as I have been unable to get through or access any information on it.

There's got to be others out there who have this system and know what needs to be done?? I've read that people obtained programming documentation via fax transmission after calling the number (years ago). If I could get ahold of that paperwork it would probably be very helpful.

Anyone out there?!?!
