my truck seems to be misfiring, but im not entirely sure thats the case.

it seems to vibrate and hesitate at times as im accelerating, but if i accelerate even more it will stop. I changed the fuel filter and have used a fuel injector cleaner to the gas and its not as bad as before but it still does it occasionally. I cant specify a certain time it does it, but it only does it while accelerating. Not stalled or cruising. Any help would be great.

ps. I have installed an intake and exhaust and am getting some money soon to hopefully get at least a tuner maybe a bit more depending what it takes to fix this.

Check and see if it is throwing a code, auto parts store can read codes for you. May be a cop (coil on plug) problem.

 

Also, it helps to provide the year and engine size, as some of the Ford engines used in the trucks have different problems than others that can cause your symptoms. Add this to your signiture; this way all your posts will have this.
