Default Help! (Leveling front end)

Hey guys. I am about to get started installing a 2" AS leveling kit on my 2wd 2006 f150 Screw. I called around and a few guys said that I may need 4 cam bolts installed for allignment. I have no idea what they are talking about. Any ideas? I have heard of guys on here leveling and alligning with no problem, right?

If anyone has experience leveling these 2wd f150's...please give me some advice.

By the way, the cam bolts are around $200 for a set....

Dunno about a 2WD truck, but if you install it and take it to a GOOD alignment shop they'd be able to take care of them for you or tell you if you need them or not I'm sure

I just dont want to level it and take it down there thinking Im going to pay $80 to have it alligned and end up paying $280.....because I end up having to have the cam bolts. You know what I mean.

I leveled my 2wd supercrew with a daystar 2.5 and had no issues aligning it.

Ok, thats a little reassuring. Right now my truck is perfectly alligned. I am putting on AS 2" blocks. It probably wouldnt need exptreme changing, right?

Sorry...I just dont know ANYTHING about this stuff.

Under the leveling kit sticky, the author says that you do not need any extra add ons when you get it aligned. You may need to get it aligned more than once to get everything straight when it settles. I got mine aligned the day I installed it and need to go get it done again because I am getting a right pull at highway speeds.

Ok great. That makes me fee a lot better. When I was calling around for prices one of the shops told me that and I was REALLY not expecting that.

Thanks a lot for all your feedback!

It is a small world man. Down there south of ft worth? I'm up in north central Dallas. I like ft worth way more than Dallas, but at least I can run over there on weekends.
