Question Help finding new grill surround

I have a 2004 Ford F150. It was cold one night here (about -20F) and I was looking under the hood and shut it and the grill surround broke. I called the local dealer, but they wanted $400 to replace it. Anyways, I have pictures of the where it snapped. Does anyone have any info on where I can get an aftermarket part? I wouldn't care if it came with a new grill and grill surround.

Here are some pics:

Thanks for any help!

Rob

Try ebay or local craigslist.com. Got a great deal on a painted one locally for 25 bucks on craigslist. Too bad I already sold my chrome one, I would have sold it to you for cheap. You might get lucky. Good Luck on your search.

A body shop should be able to fix that up for you and repaint it, since you'll probably have to have one painted anyway once you get it. But if you don't want to go that route let me know if you find one because I'm looking for a painted one too because I'm ready to ditch the chrome one....and if I find one I'll let you know and I'll sell you mine.

You should get a Roush or Saleen grille then. Unless you want then stock look then. I don't know if a body shop would be cheaper than buying a new one. I'm sure it would be though.

Going to a body shop would be expensive. They gotta bond it back together, then prep and paint it. You might as well try doing it yourself if your gonna go that route.

Go to LMC truck parts. They have all the grills there.

Any painted-to-match color. My grille is the honeycomb grille but my surround in chrome which would look great with a chrome 5-bar. If you've got a painted-to-match one I'd be willing to work out a trade on the surround. PM me if you're interested.
