Default HELP!!!! ecm or tcm problems

I have a 06 fx4 and I have had a engine light on, but no real problems only a howling noise(thinking rearend). About 4 weeks ago while pulling a trailer my gauges said trans fault and the o/d light was flashing. Turned the truck off and never came back.. Well three days ago my trans started shifting weird and making small noised like dragging something off and on.. I can tell the trans is having problems but cant tell if its terminal.. I had the code tool hooked up and it says p0605 powertrain module or something like that.. Anyone know whats going on

Open Google; place the code in the Google search box; then read. You'll get sites that will give you a description, and what part(s) will require changing.

In your case, it may be a transmission rebuild.

I'm assuming the 5.4 engine with larger transmission. What's your mileage? What maintenance (if any was done to the transmission (I.E. fluid changes/flushes))?

Yes 5.4 and I have the trans serviced. The fluid smells fine and looks great, 106000 miles.. I tried the google thing and it brings up bad computer but I didnt really think it would cause this issue, but maybe I have two issues going on.

The transmission shifts are controlled by the PCM.
