I know i should just replace the battery and be done with it, but this is the second time it's happened. I don't want to be in the same situation this time next year.

 

I bought a used 2005 F-150 and the truck was running good for a couple of months. Then one morning it wouldn't start. Replaced battery and alternator and the truck worked for a couple of weeks and now it won't start again. Any one have any ideas on what I can try. Thank you

 

I would unplug the radio first and see if that's it!

 

Check for a bad or loose ground wire.

 

Help , my 88 f150 won't light up the dash or start. aaa came and got it to start, but as soon as they took the cables off it died. The guy said it was altenator, bought and installed. still no dash or ignition. When try to jump from another car whirring noise.. took battery to auto part they said it was 100% good.
