Default Help. ABS

Have a 04 f150 XLT 4.6L RWD. the ABS light came on a few months ago. Went off for a few weeks. Then came back on truck drives no different just the lights on. Bad Sensor is what I'm thinking but which one? One of the front to or the one on the rear diff? Anyone seen this?

See this all the time for multiple reasons. . It would need to be driven when acting up with a scan tool to watch pid values to see if a sensor is dropping out or if a valve or solenoid is sticking in the hcu and module. . Seen wiring cause problems at the rear sensor from loose terminals to corrosion. Hubs going bad toner wheel damage the list goes on and on

Around here 95% of the time it's the rear sensor and/or pigtail. They take a real beating on the gravel roads. I would suggest an inspection of the wires to the rear sensor. May get lucky with an easy fix
