I can't get those two plastic vent pieces that are between the windshield and the hood off. I don't know what to call it. I was trying to find something about it on google, and a lot of people were calling it a cowl cover? Mine has faded in the sun really bad and looks like crap. I was just wanting to paint in black again but I can't get them out. I come close but something is catching. Do I need to completly remove the windshield wipers or something!? Any help would be great! Thanks

 

did you ever find a good fix for the fading problem, mine is doing the same

 

what about the rubber pieces on each end mine are rotten..any ideas?

 

I've read on another post about the plastics for the bed rails, that there is a cleaning solution or something that you can just wipe on.... I would try to find out what that solution was before painting anything....

I use this, not a bad product, but not a permanent fix....you pretty much have to put it at least every time you wash the truck...
