Default Help

I've got a ticking ish noise I am hearing on the passenger side of my motor, It does not do it in neutral and doesn't do it at idle, only accelerating, I know it's not my cam phasers because I had those changed less than 1000 miles ago, and I know it's not an exhaust leak because I have checked it myself and also had it checked at a exhaust shop, idk what it is, I'm lost, ANY help would be awesome, thanks

Just cause u change the phasers doesn't mean they'll stop ticking. most 5.4's came off the lot brand new ticking, its just the characteristics of our motors. mine does the same thing everything I go to a fast food drive through it sounds horrible for a split second while accelerating but runs good. it's just the way most these motors sound hope this helps bothered me for the longest time but I'm over it now

X2 on a plug being loose.
If you give it a little gas and the noise goes away, you can check off the phasers and look elsewhere.
