Hellspawned 06 5.4 rough idle and stalls
So.. I have an 06 f150 that I thought after reading forums needed the timing redone but after having the valve covers pulled my guy said they looked like they had just been done and didn’t need it. He went ahead and did the spark plugs which ended up being completely trash and my fuel regulator.
Truck has a really bad idle and will just shut off when it goes in gear. You can feather the gas before you get it into gear and then it will drive, but still really rough and will shut off or stall as soon as rpms get low enough. The part that really pisses me off is it won’t throw any codes. I changed out my fuel driver module this morning because it was corroded and no better.
I’ve seen on here about thicker oil and such but I don’t want the thick oil causing any more problems than I already have. So hoping you guys have some answers before I try and sell it.
I took a video that’s too large so ima put it in YouTube and then add it in a few
update.. video won’t load from YouTube lol

New phasers don't mean good phasers. If someone used dormans or Chinese ones, or even with OEM parts if they didn't do the job properly the timing could still be the issue.
And these need good oil pressure so if they didn't clean out the oil pan or something that can contribute to oil pressure and thus timing issues.
Really we could guess all day but if you pull some live data for vct angles and error values, fuel pressure that would help diagnose
