So my heat is either cold or hot. When I adjust the control to a medium setting it stays hot until I have it turned to cold. There is no happy medium. Would this be that my control unit on dash is bad?
It is a 2008 F150 SCREW 60th anniversary

More than likely the blend door motor. $20 part behind the fm radio, took me about an hour to replace.

Make sure you have someone with small hands available. Three screws hold that motor in place, and the one in the back is just a bear to take out with large mitts. I putzed with that final screw for half an hour before I finally got my daughter to take it out.

Nothing better than ordering the part and tearing this apart. Getting the blend door out and it swing different than the one they gone ya.
Now I have to wait till Tuesday for the correct one to get here....

Did you go through the radio and dash to do it? I need to do mine. It is either hot or hotter in my truck.

Yea to get to two of the bolts I took the radio out. The far boot I had to lower the glove box and get from there.
