I have a 2008 F-150 XL and recently started having problems with controling the tempreture. When I turn the **** 1/4 to half way up (after the engine is warmed up) its like having it turned up all the way. Or if I have it turned up just a little the heat seems to be on full when coming to a stop or making a turn around a corner. What would cause this problem? Air in the line to the heater core, problem with the temp control ****? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Blend door actuator behind the radio. Takes about 15 mins to replace.

 

Found a TSB for the blend door actuator, seems targeted on the electronic HVAC controls, not the manual version, but this has gotta be it. Thanks, I'll get the part today. Looks like $25-$30. Appreciate the feedback...

 

Does anyone happen to have the part number for the blend door actuator? I am having the same issue on my truck now and it is very annoying. Thanks
