Default Heater

Can someone help me. I have a 08 F150 Screw. The hot cold adjustment ****. When I turn it to hot it is hot obviously, if I turn it half way the heat still pumps. There is no happy medium. I turn the **** all the way to cold today and it still was pumping serious heat. I turn on the A/C and it still continued to pump the heat. No cold or warm air comes out what so ever?

When you turn the selector between hot and cold...a door moves to divert either heat or cold air, yours don't sound likes its working correctly.

Just went to the dealer to see what I was looking at for repairs and costs. Was told it is hard to say without looking at it, however most likely looking at at least half a days labor. OUCH!!!!

Sounds like the blend door motor is bad. Mine did the same thing in my 07 F150. I replaced mine by removing the stereo and center dash trim piece. I also removed the glove box to make access easier.

In all it took me about 45 minutes to replace the motor. Motor cost me about $27 from the dealership at my discounted price. Works perfect now.
