When I press the power button the indicator light comes then shuts right off. Fuses are good, any ideas?

i have taken my regular power mirrors off and my new tow mirrors and there are like 4 or 6 clips behind the mirror. i moved the mirror all of the way to a corner and used a screwdriver to help pry the mirror off. i had to pop the clips off 1 by 1. Its really not as hard as you might think

I have the same problem as this fellow... Is there a temp at which they won't come on. Its still above freezing right now, but thought they would come on at any temp before when I pressed the button (don't quite remember, since I am not in the habit of turning them on when its warm out)..... would rather fix a problem now then when it does get cold out.

Somehow the relay for the heated mirrors was no longer there, and I am the only one working on the truck so...ya.... I created alot of unnecessary troublesooting for my self
