Just curious why you started a full separate thread about the same thing? It may get confusing for others and yourself.

Yep, there's thread on this. 400 will definitely take the yellow layer off. It's a bit coarse, you'll have to sand down those scratches. and you need to clear coat it or it will be back to yellow in no time.

Well i re-sanded the 3 layers of clear coat to get to the bad spots with 400 grit then repeated the same process. 400-2000 grit finished with clear coat I added something else. I bought a drill applied buffing pad and used some turtle wax and buffed the headlights. It actually calls for wax after the whole process but they look sooooooo good !!!!!!

Use the 400 to get the bad spots then 6 or 800 and finish it with 2000. Make sure you start with a swirl and end with a vertical pattern on each grit. Spray clear coat wait 5 min and repeat 2 more times then some back with the 2000 and apply some kind of wax. The drill buffer with turtle wax worked like a charm.

I always went with the Turtle Wax Billet Polish after the 2,000 grit. that kept things real nice for about a year. Never did the clear coat.

Well I guess I didn’t tighten the drivers side bulb enough and it popped out the headlight and busted. It burned the reflector where the light inserts and now the light won’t stay. I had to take the ballast and wiring out and somehow got a halogen to stay in. I ordered smoked/black euro headlights with gen8 led H/L beam kits and had them expedited. I left the passenger side alone and just switched to high beam which makes the lights match. There were some blue but connectors on the drivers side when I took the light and ballast out but I don’t know what their for because I plugged the halogen in and it came on.
