If you are going with HIDs, make sure that you use a projector lense, a HID in a stock housing will throw a scatter light out and blind the oncoming traffic. I went with 1 HIDs in a projector lense housing. I think mine are 6000k 35watt. My Lows are the H1 HID and my High beam is a separate light now.

I know about projectors I just don't know what kind I should get

The set I had on my powerstroke were from eBay and I had to mess with the halos a bunch to keep them working

Thats because cheap projector halo lights from ebay belong on a ricer....a retrofit is your best bet and affordable these days as well.

Build a set of retrofits. I'd stay away from those eBay projector headlights.
Check out The Retrofit Source for parts. Top notch quality parts and great customer service.

That's exactly what I think I see a pair of eBay projector headlights. They make any vehicle look bad/ cheap IMO

40W LED bulbs, 7000LM light output, 6000K white color.
Same bright at least if not more than HIDs.
Plug & Play, easy installation.
Instant on, no need wait like HIDs.

Seriously, this is my first reply on f150forum, if you would like to try and trust me, contact me.

Won't be disappointed, promise!

The thing is it's hard for me to find time to build a set. I'd love to build a set. But I'm working 6 10s an hour and a half away now.

LED bulbs are crap in the 2004-08 housing.
