Mine are ccfl, I had the led and they were terrible you couldn't see them from over 50 feet even at night so I returned them but the ccfl are bright even in daylight!
As for wiring it was pretty straight forward but after doing two sets of headlights I changed some things from the instructions. Everything is plug and play besides the drls and halos, for those just crimp all three positive leads together and then all 3 negative together. Add a spare piece of wire to the open side of each crimp and then use a quick connect to splice that one piece into your blinker power wire (not the wire to make it blink though!).

How the light output and what bulbs do u have

 

The light output is good it has a definitive cutoff which is what you want in projectors and there is an adjustment **** on them so you can raise the angle to what you like. I changed the halogen bulbs it came with for 8k Hids from ddm tuning which really makes a difference! The lows are really easy to switch to hid but the highs are annoying the hole wasn't big enough and I had to dremel it out a little.
