Default Body change in 04'

My dad replaced his 98' with a 04' and it is still the older body style, does anyone know when they changed to the newer style?

they changed in '04, but they still produced a few of the previous generation for that year. they were called heritages.

No he will need to specify since the heritage is exactly like a 03 and nothing like a 04-05.
