Default Headlight mod

All the write ups iv seen on taking apart the headlights say to use an oven to melt the silicone. The rooms in my barrics dont have ovens so i was wondering if it would be ok to use a heat gun instead if im careful to not let one spot get to hot? Or would I just be better to see if someone off post will let me use their oven?

hey there grunt. youd be better off waiting for an oven. the silicone even when using an oven is a bit of a pain, and you have to act quickly. to do it right, and if it were mine id just wait.

whys the sky blue?

ive done 4 sets of lights thats why i said youd be better off waiting. to do it right and have zero condensation i would be patient. hell if i was still stationed at the squaking buzzards id have you come over and we could knock it out in about an hour.

and thats right. Rangers lead the way HooaH.
