Another vote from a HBS consumer. No issues here and for the price it's a no brainier.

I think price wise they are all pretty close, they both have powdercoating as an option and install the same. I only needed a 1.5 leveling kit for my truck and HBS didnt offer one but AS did.

Another thought. Autospring charges an extra $12 for powdercoating. Hellbent steel kits come standard with black powdercoating.

On ebay, powder coated 2.5 inch

HBS- $69.00
AS - $69.99

I just put mine in and they were the same price.
Its a spacer on the top of your strut. As long as it doesnt fall apart they will all do the job equally and I havent seen any posts from anyone about these things failing.

Why on ebay does it say $12 for powdercoating. $69 for gloss black?

You said it was $12 for powdercoating, I paid $69.99 for a powdercoated kit.

Just to point this out.....This thread was about hbs and autospring kits. Your link is to ccm offroad kits. That's why you didn't pay an upcharge for powdercoating. Because yours is neither hbs nor as. But,that's yet another option for leveling kits.

But yes, autosprings charges extra for powdercoating. Hbs and ccm offroading DONT !!!!!

ok theyre all about the same yes, i do know that with other kits you have to rotate the strut 180 degrees before you reinstall it, not with the AS. any wrong with it, not really. but it is a difference...

My bad, I copy/pasted the wrong link while working. Bottom line: shop around, prices arent much different and a no matter which spacer you use it will work fine.
