Default Handle?

In the middle at the top of my rear seat there is a handle sticking out. What is it for? I have yanked on it and nothing happens, and I dont think the seats fold down. Does it have a purpose?

I've seen that too on mine. I'm not sure what it is used for but I used it to hang some clothes when I moved out.

You're talking about the black loop thing that hangs in the middle of the rear seat right??

The old man is correct.

I couldn't figure out what is was either, then I finally took out the manual and gave it a good read.
