So can you adjust each preloaded tune just like the regular Edge? Like shift points, shift firmness and timing? I plan on converting and getting a custom tune but would like to be able to adjust the 3 preloaded tunes until that time.

Yeah it still has all those options, wasn't missing anything, just a way for you to install custom tunes if you bought one.

Like i said its still the Edge, Just with continued development on a discontinued/unsupported device.

Sweet, may have to convert it tomorrow. I really want a 91 performance tune but also like to keep the ability to adjust or use a standard level 2 tow tune.

Seeing as my truck gave me a code after I cleaned the throttle body that I wasn't getting b4 I cleaned it I'm faced with 2 options.
1. Put my stock intake back in and leave it and try to sell my CAI

OR

2. Leave the CAI in but keep the truck set to stock until I get the custom tune for it.

It runs fine when set on stock I haven't tried it again now that I've driven about 100 miles or so. What do yall think?

I'm very interested in this, I bought my 06 with the 5.4 brand new and installed the Evo within the first 6 months. I've always ran it on level 3 with 35's, different exhaust, CAI and 93 octane. Are you saying that with this upgrade I'll see more power gains? Also, I don't have a PC or laptop. Can this be done on a tablet?

You might, But its for sure a updated tune. When you get on it seems to use the 2-3k band better to pull that torque out. Edge stopped tweaking, Gryphon didn't. So you get their canned tunes, or you can order your own special one. Getting 14-16mpg in town according to it with my lock points 2-3 at -4 and 3-4 at -6 on my 33's. Its the same device just updated, So update it!

Just the mini USB cable that came with it. You probably have about 10 of those laying around

When you choose the 87 tow, you can chose "create custom settings" , with a "yes" or "no" option? I am assuming yes because you have changed your lock points on the TC.
