Default Grinding while i turn someone help!!

I have a 2007 F150 4x4, 5.4 v8 , seems like when I make a left or right hand turns I have a grinding sound coming from the front .when I put it in 4 x 4 it's still there but it seems like the front end really locks down and I get the wheel hop. It's never done this before. Could this be the hubs going out? The odd thing is it doesn't always make the grinding sounds when I'm turning .

Check your wheel bearings. Lift the wheels off the ground, grab top an bottom and see if there's any play

Stick your head inside the wheel well and observe what is moving. If the whole knuckle is loose, it's ball joints, if it's just the wheel assembly, then it's your bearings.

Good luck, replacing the hub/bearing is a relatively easy job, just not cheap.

while in 4WD on dry pavement you will get wheel hop when trying to turn...
This is normal and should not be done too long...
