how hard is it to install a grille on the h-bar if it won't just fit over it?

it will fit on any of them, if you look you cut the center out of them and it fits in from there

Can you completely replace the grille with that grille and "retain the housing" though?

Haha, no biggy. I finally found the answer to this question a couple years ago I think. I ended up going with the Saleen grille because of that answer haha. I like my Saleen grille much better anyway

Yes, any inner grill such as an H-bar grill can be removed and replaced with a honeycomb or billit stype grill. You open the hood, remove the upper 7 (?) bolts. This removes the grill and surround trim piece. Then use a heat gun to soften the twisted plastic snap type fasteners that hold the grill to the surround. Then install your new grill to your surround trim piece, and then install this assembly to your hood.

^I guess I thought he was asking if it was possible to install billet OVER the top of the H-bar... in that case, the answer would be no lol
