Default Got my baby back

Well howdy everyone, as the title says I got my baby girl back last night; she rides better then she every did! The mechanic shop replaced the rear tire that was popped due to them not allowing me to pay the difference to go with a larger size tire which somewhat pissed me off.... anyway, since I got one brand new tire and the other three are nearing the "warning" level I figured I'll just go ahead and upgrade to a bigger size and sell my brand new tire to my friend, Bubba. Well I went to the local Sam's Club and ordered myself a set of BFGoodRich A/T's in the size 285/70/17 which I think will look really nice on the truck. After reading on these forums I'm kinda scared that they may not fit now... On the fitment guide it says 33"x12.5" is the max and these are a 32.70" by 11.22" so I think I'm good there but is that 33"x12.5" being compared to a FX4 since they sit up a inch higher? Thanks in advance guys, I'll take ton's of pictures once I get this setup on.... successfully haha

Congratulations on getting your truck back and to answer your question I believe the "Wheel Fitment Guide" is set for the base models 4x4, including your xlt. With that being said your tires should fit with no rubbing, but will be cutting it close. And the FX4's do sit a inch higher I've been told so I'm actually curious if I coulda gone a bigger size then 285's because I'm actually going to purchase those same tires tonight. But anyway best of luck to ya man and don't get your baby in another accident!

Just curious, how was the price on the tires compared to other places? I have been keeping my eye open for the exact same tire for my truck.
