I used to be a HUGE 7.3 fan...until my buddy got one. It's nickel and diming him like crazy. During the production of the 6.0. Ford sold 3x as more 6.0's than Chevy and Dodge did they're diesels. With more 6.0's on the road of course your gonna hear more of them breaking down. My personally favorite motor is the 6.0 because like previously mentioned with 5-6k put into them. They're every bit as good and better than a 7.3. Plus around here a 6.0 is the same price as a F150.

To bad every 6.0 is nickel and diming everyone else that has one..... But again I like the 6.0. Is a awesome engine for certain people.

Sounds like you are the one posting up the drama. I have no beef, I'd be happy with either but I just want the most for my money. I've never owned anything newer than 99, and with this job I could afford just about anything. I'm just looking for opinions here, no attitude needed man, grow up a little will ya?

Yes I initially started wanting the diesel, because I wanted one for the power, resale and versatility of them. I'm hard on just about anything I own. My boss has a '12 f150 with the while tow package and its an awesome truck, but not towering anything he gets 16 mpg, and towering a 20' trailer with his miata on it he gets 7-8. Bad. A diesel will get the same weather I'm towing or not.

I don't really like the look of the new ones, the 08 style is starring to grow on me, but I don't really like how huge the headlights are on the newest style f250

Xlt or Lariat? Because fx4 is just a package and not a model.
