Hey guys just sold my 6.0 powerstroke awhile back, looking to get back into an f150 for now. This one I'm looking at is a 2004 supercab lariat 4x4. I think I can buy it for about $7500 has 156k miles... what do you all think? Ik the cam phasers are gonna need replaced cause he said there making noise.

Yea, looks clean and good price. If you do the phasers, replace the timing components and in my opinion, change the lash adjusters and followers while in there. It will give you a chance to check out the cam journals for wear as well. Good luck

Since it is 4x4, he's dead on in terms of price. My truck has similar specs i'd say I could sell for 6500, but it is a 2wd. So you're in the right spot.

Yeah he wants 8k but I don't really want to give over $7500 for it. His original asking price was like 13k but no way he would ever get that...

Seems fair to me. If you can get it for 7500 I don't think you could go wrong. If it's been taken care of another 100k miles should be easy. Good luck.

You do realize Rock Auto sells the same parts? And that Rock Auto is just a major car parts seller, and not a brand name. Cardone is a parts brand name. Ford Parts Giant is just having a sale and is usually about the same, or more, as Rock Auto.

@HardcoreFx4 Ignore that guy, @ceasefire49 , he doesn't know what he's talking about. If you want quality parts, get OEM Ford, Melling or Cloyes (Melling and Cloyes are an OEM manufacturer). Personally, I'd go with Melling parts, like I did, which I bought from Rock Auto. You can get that from Rock Auto, Summit Racing, Ford Parts Giant, any dealer in the Ford parts network, or even Amazon. Usually Rock Auto has the best price.
