alright so im getting my truck lifted 8 inches and such... ordered lift and gonna start buying wheels and tires and gears slowly.. until thats done i need new tires because mine are bald...


found a set of 305 60 18s for my 2004 f150 fx4 scab 2.5 level..

they are 305 60 18 cooper discoverer stt that have 3,000 miles on them and the guy said he would take 700 bucks

is 700$ a good deal for 305 60 18 cooper stt with 3,000 miles?????


if so ill be buying tomorrow

those are 33's why in the world would you run 33's with 8" of lift?

read it over again slowly... im getting my truck lifted and starting to buy rims and tires ( UNTIL THATS DONE I NEED NEW TIRES BECAUSE MINE ARE BALD )


( im buying these tires to replace my old ones until i get my lift tires and rims put on.. these tires will be on my stock rims i wont be using 33s with an 8 inch lift

Honestly I would find cheaper used tires if you're only gonna be running them for 10 or 15K miles. I sold my stock wheels and tires for $600 and that was with the 20" factory wheels...tires were still in good shape too. I wouldn't focus on trying to get bigger tires for the truck as it is now while you save for 35's or 37's etc.

you can put 35s on a leveled FX4. get bigger tires. Then when you get the lift, you can still run the same tires until you regear.

Im guessing with 8" & Gears.... you're looking into 37"

Why? You're paying more for something you're just replacing down the road while trying to save for it's replacement. Quickest way to 37" tires is to spend as little as you can on temporary tires.

reason i was asking is a buddy of mine owes me 350 bucks and just collected today and basically ill be paying 350 for these tires.. but overall is 700 good for these tires with 3k? might need to last me about 6 months or so but just wanting to see if these are a good deal in general..

no, your still paying $700, save the money!!!! buy some decent used tires, trust me i learned my lesson the hard way. you get screwed when you try to resell those coopers, you'll learn.
