good adhesive
I'm mounting my CB onto the sidewall of the center consle on my Screw Lariat by where mr right knee is...I bought some adhesive backed velcro "industrial strength" strips and it was working fine for about 3 hours then it lost its strength and kept coming un stuck...tried it 2 more times with more strips and it keeps falling off so obviously those aren't strong enough. Anybody know of an adhesive I could use that would hold up the CB and not leave any damage on that plastic side wall piece? Its fine if a little goo gone is nessacary if I ever decide to take it off but I just have no ideas and yall are pretty knowledgeable

Anyways, I would really not recommend using adhesives if you want to preserve you plastic. I would try to make a mounting bracket that would mount under you dash and behind the plastic and display you CB where you can see it.
What about mounting it in the dash under the radio?
Kind of tough to mount it without messing something up, but I think your best bet is to make a bracket, or see if there is one made.
Someone else may have another idea.
My cb is from the seventies and fairly large and where it is mounted it the only "clean" place to put it. Just need a way to cleanly mount it w/o drilling...I have a bracket though just no drilling is gonna happen
