ok, so i bought truck used,06 screw xlt, is there any way of telling what gear ratio is in it. somebody had hitch and trailer brake installed so id guess their 3.73's

 

Look in the drivers side door jamb and post the axle code

 

thx ill get it over weekend and post on monday,cant afford internet have to buy gas lol

If there is a b6 on your label on the door, it has 3.73 with L/S

 

My FX4 has a factory hitch and it has the 3.55 L/S. Axle code H9, I think

 

I have an 07' Scab XLT with the hitch and all with the B6 axle code which is the 3.73's
