Default Gear & install prices

Well I just pulled the trigger on a set of 4.56's with the overhaul kit. So parts so far have come out to $715 for front and rear. The ford dealer quote me $750 per axle for labor install. Another shop quoted $950, and another $800. And last a quote of $600. What are you guys paying for parts and labor?

I'm getting mine done for $600 for front and rear axles I supply all the oil and parts. Parts were just under $700 for master install kits + 5.13's.

First quote was $2700. Ford house wouldn't touch it. Last quote was about $1800 but then there were incidentals which pushed it up to ~$2k. Hated I had to spend the money but the truck would be a turd on 35's without them.

Back in 04 i ordered front and rear Yukon 4.56 gears with basic rebuild kits from randysringandpinion.com for 525ish and had a local 4x4 show install them for 500. This was on a 03 F-150
